The Region of Akakus.
The region in the Akakus-mountains the region surrounding them, features
several attractions. It captivates by interesting landscapes, which lends
its exploration to a trip on a camel’s back. You find numerous petroglyphs
and cave-paintings displaying motifs of a time in which several animals still
populate the region, because the climate was more fructuous.
In the lowlands the wind of Sahara desert abraded the rock to partly fascinating and odd shapes. This site will soon gain more detailed information on the region of the Akakus- Mountains.
